Erectile dysfunction medicines seized in Glengormley

Large quantities of unlicensed medications have actually been taken by Department of Health authorities throughout a search of a home in Glengormley.
A male was spoken with by department officers about illegally importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medications by means of the web.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offences.
He will now be the topic of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, said: "It is important that we get the message across that unlicensed medications can be harmful.
"These types of items being offered, usually online, have undergone no quality assurance and there can be no about their security.
"You simply do not know what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More importantly, you do not understand the result drugs like this may have on your health."
